On Friday, April 12, the Wisconsin Council of Administrators of Special Services (WCASS) honored outstanding individuals in the field of Student Services. Among this year's award recipients were Matt Schroeder, who received the Administrator of the Year Award for his role as Principal at Wisconsin Hills Middle School; Luis Gutierrez, recognized with the Personal Achievement Award as a student at Brookfield Central; and Ellia Trochelman, named Student Advocate of the Year for her efforts at Brookfield Central. Leanna Manser was also acknowledged for her dedication to students as the District Nurse.
Director of Special Education, Liz Stegemann, expressed her appreciation for the recipients, stating, "We are so grateful for and proud of the incredible work that Principal Schroeder, Luis and Ellia have all done this year surrounding Student Services. Their awards showcase the great strides they make every day, and the impact that their work has on both our staff and student body."
Congratulations were extended to Matt, Luis, and Ellia for their remarkable achievements in the field of Student Services. The event was marked by a celebration attended by WCASS Board Member Jeanne Siegenthaler and Elmbrook staff.
