Arizona State Rep. Scott Fitzgerald recently said that Vice President Kamala Harris's handling of border issues is ‘dangerous’ in response to a troubling DHS report revealing that over 290,000 children who crossed the border illegally are now unaccounted for.

“Yet another shocking revelation at the southern border. Border Czar Kamala Harris's leadership is dangerous,” Rep. Fitzgerald wrote in an Aug. 21 social media post on X.

Rep. Fitzgerald made his comment in response to a report from the DHS Inspector General estimating that more than 290,000 children who have crossed the border illegally under the Biden-Harris administration are now unaccounted for.

According to The Sconi, Eric Hovde, a U.S. Senate candidate for Wisconsin, recently criticized the Biden-Harris administration and Senator Baldwin for their open borders policies, claiming these policies have led to increased illegal immigration, drug overdoses, and terrorist threats. Hovde argues that the administration's approach prioritizes a flawed open borders agenda over Wisconsin's safety, citing over 7.7 million border encounters since January 2021 and a rise in fentanyl-related overdose deaths in the state. He points to a significant increase in individuals on the terrorist watchlist attempting to enter the U.S. as evidence of growing security concerns.

The Sconi also reported that Restoration PAC has released a new ad titled “CZAR,” criticizing Vice President Kamala Harris as a “complete failure” in handling border issues. The ad accuses Harris of overseeing a severe illegal immigration crisis and failing to protect American citizens. It highlights violent crimes committed by individuals who entered the U.S. unlawfully and questions Harris’s competence and readiness for a promotion.

A recent TechnoMetrica poll shows a tight race in Wisconsin between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris for the 2024 presidential election, with both candidates tied at 47% among likely voters with 3% undecided.
