Rep. Scott Fitzgerald, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, recently addressed issues related to public safety and media access in a series of posts on his official X account.

On August 26, 2025, Fitzgerald commented on the potential deployment of the National Guard to major cities by President Biden. He stated, "If @POTUS sends the National Guard into cities like Chicago, it would restore safety and stability where local Democrat leadership has failed. We have already seen the results in Washington, D.C. The presence of the National Guard has restored order by reestablishing the rule of".

The following day, August 27, 2025, Fitzgerald turned his attention to sports broadcasting access for consumers as football season approaches.
