There were 4,928 students enrolled in Oconomowoc Area School District in the 2024-25 school year, 0.5% less than the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2024-25 school year, 51.2% identified themselves as boys, 48.8% as girls.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, accounting for 87.5% of the Oconomowoc Area School District total enrollment.

Oconomowoc Area School District covers eight schools within Waukesha County, with its main office in Oconomowoc.

Among the eight schools in the district, Oconomowoc High School recorded the highest enrollment of 1,591 students in the 2024-25 school year.

Wisconsin had a student-to-teacher ratio of 14-to-1 in 2025, lower than the national average of 16-to-1, according to Public School Review.
