Congressman Scott Fitzgerald of Wisconsin's 5th District has publicly expressed his support for Israel following its recent strike against Iran. In a statement, Fitzgerald emphasized Israel's right to self-defense amid increasing threats from Iran, which he described as "the world’s foremost state sponsor of terrorism."
Fitzgerald also highlighted the position of the United States government regarding the attack. He stated, “President Trump and Secretary Rubio have made clear that the United States was not involved in the planning or execution of these attacks." Despite this, he reassured that "our commitment to Israel’s security remains firm."
The Congressman reiterated his long-standing stance against a nuclear-armed Iran and voiced support for President Trump's efforts to bring stability to the region.
