Rep. Scott Fitzgerald, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Wisconsin's 5th district, has been active on social media expressing his views on various issues. A former member of the Wisconsin State Senate from 1995 to 2021, Fitzgerald succeeded Jim Sensenbrenner in Congress in 2021.

On June 13, 2025, Rep. Fitzgerald expressed his support for Israel amidst escalating tensions with Iran. He stated "I strongly support Israel’s right to defend itself in the face of escalating threats from Iran, which is the world’s foremost state sponsor of terrorism." He further clarified that @POTUS and @SecRubio have made clear that the United States was not involved in the planning or execution of these attacks.

The following day, June 14, he commemorated a significant milestone for the U.S. Army by wishing them a happy birthday. He remarked "Happy Birthday to the U.S. Army! Honoring 250 years of courage, commitment, and service." Fitzgerald also acknowledged the contributions of military personnel by saying "We’re grateful to the brave men and women who have served, and continue to serve, in defense of our freedoms."

Later on June 14, Rep. Fitzgerald addressed a tragic event involving public officials from Minnesota. He shared his condolences over a violent incident stating "Sickened by the targeted, political attack that took the lives of Minnesota Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband..." emphasizing that "Violence against public officials is an attack on the democratic process itself."

Scott Fitzgerald was born in Chicago in 1963 and resides in Clyman. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh.
