The School District of Elmbrook has been named the top public school district in Wisconsin by Niche.com for 2025. This marks the sixth consecutive year and the eighth time overall that Elmbrook has received this distinction. The rankings by Niche consider academic data and survey responses about school and student life.

Elmbrook was previously ranked as the number one district in Wisconsin by Niche in 2016, 2017, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024. Additionally, Niche placed Elmbrook at number 50 nationally for Best School Districts across the United States.

“This recognition highlights our community’s commitment to providing exceptional education for every learner,” said Emily Grieber, Assistant Superintendent for Teaching & Learning. “Our results, reflected in our achievement and stakeholder satisfaction, are the direct outcome of the hard work and dedication of our students and staff each and every day.”

For the year 2025, all schools within Elmbrook received an A+ rating from Niche. Brookfield East High School and Brookfield Central High School were ranked as the top two public high schools in Wisconsin.
