The City of Brookfield has announced it will host a Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) to help residents apply for assistance following the August flooding. The DRCs are open to all individuals affected by the disaster, regardless of their municipality within Waukesha County.
The Brookfield DRC will operate from October 1 to 4 and again from October 6 to 11. The center will be open Monday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., except on Monday, October 6, when hours will be from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Other Disaster Recovery Centers will also be available in Butler and Muskego. Residents seeking more information about these locations can visit the Waukesha County disaster information page.
"The City of Brookfield will be hosting a Disaster Recovery Center to assist citizens with applying for applicable assistance. Disaster Recovery Centers (DRCs) will be located at designated locations within Waukesha County. The DRCs are not restricted to residents of these municipalities; all residents impacted by the August Flooding requiring assistance are welcome to attend," according to the city’s announcement.
