The Waukesha County Business Alliance, along with Waukesha County and the Waukesha County Center for Growth, has announced the recipients of the 2025 Waukesha County Awards. These awards honor businesses and nonprofit organizations that have a significant impact on the community.
ITU AbsorbTech was named Large Business of the Year. The company is an environmental services provider focused on sustainable operations through managed service programs for reusable textiles. Founded in 1908 in New Berlin, Wisconsin, ITU AbsorbTech remains family-owned and operates 15 locations nationwide.
raSmith received the Medium Business of the Year award. This consulting firm offers services in engineering, surveying, architecture, and construction inspection. Established in 1978 in Brookfield, Wisconsin, raSmith employs over 200 people across several states and is recognized for its ethical practices and community involvement.
MSI General was awarded Small Business of the Year. Based in Nashotah since 1957, MSI General specializes in commercial design-build projects using a Single Source Responsibility model. The firm emphasizes safety, innovation, and sustainability while supporting local organizations through its TRUEBLUE community program.
Eras Senior Network earned recognition as Nonprofit of the Year. This organization assists seniors and adults with disabilities by providing no-charge services like transportation and companionship. Operating in Milwaukee and Waukesha Counties, Eras coordinates thousands of rides annually and engages volunteers to address community needs.
The award winners will be celebrated at the Alliance’s 107th Annual Meeting on September 11, 2025, at the Brookfield Conference Center.
