Rep. Scott Fitzgerald, representing Wisconsin’s 5th District in the U.S. Congress since 2021, shared a series of tweets expressing his views on key issues including election integrity, artificial intelligence, and veteran appreciation. As a long-serving political figure, Fitzgerald continues to communicate with his constituents on these important matters via social media.

On April 1, Fitzgerald underscored the importance of election integrity, stating that "Election integrity matters—only U.S. citizens should be able to vote in U.S. elections. Point blank, period." Emphasizing his standpoint, he called for citizen-exclusive participation in national voting processes.

Following this, on April 2, he addressed the essential conditions for the United States to lead in artificial intelligence development. Fitzgerald conveyed via a tweet that "The U.S. must remain the best place in the world to build, test, and deploy AI. That means making room for new entrants, protecting free speech, and making sure American entrepreneurs—not unelected regulators—shape its future." He warned against fear-driven decision-making potentially ceding control to unelected bodies.

On April 3, Fitzgerald expressed gratitude towards veterans, encouraging them to share their experiences for recognition and remembrance. He acknowledged that "Our nation is forever grateful for the sacrifices made by our veterans. Their bravery, dedication, and service deserve to be honored and remembered." His office welcomes veterans to connect and share their stories through his website’s contact form.
