The Waukesha County Business Alliance and the MKE Tech Hub Coalition have joined forces to assist manufacturers in adopting artificial intelligence (AI) solutions. Their collaboration focuses on promoting Synapse, an initiative by the MKE Tech Hub Coalition aimed at helping mid-market manufacturers navigate AI implementation.

Synapse seeks to accelerate AI adoption by identifying areas where AI can be most beneficial and providing practical, scalable solutions. The program offers executive education, strategic advisory services, proof-of-value pilots, and peer learning opportunities to support businesses in executing AI strategies effectively.

Kathy Henrich, CEO of MKE Tech Hub Coalition, stated, “This partnership is about meeting manufacturers where they are and giving them a path forward.” She emphasized the potential of AI to improve efficiency and innovation but noted that many businesses require assistance with adoption complexities. The partnership with the Waukesha County Business Alliance aims to provide this guidance.

Amanda Payne, President & CEO of Waukesha County Business Alliance, highlighted the initiative's importance for its members: “Many of our manufacturing businesses are eager to embrace AI and capitalize on the extensive resources we have in Southeast Wisconsin.” She explained that Synapse offers expert advice and peer collaboration to help members make informed decisions.

Alliance manufacturing members will gain access to Synapse’s services and resources through this collaboration. The partnership includes joint educational events and coordination across economic development efforts to ensure manufacturers have the necessary tools for success amid technological advancements.
