On March 5, the Waukesha County Business Alliance held its first Legislative Day in Madison. The event aimed to connect business leaders with policymakers to discuss important economic priorities affecting the region.

During the half-day program, business leaders had the chance to meet with 14 different legislators. This engagement ensured that the business community's voice was heard on crucial legislative issues. Throughout these meetings, participants shared their views on various matters.

The inaugural Legislative Day highlighted the Alliance's role as an advocate for its 1,200 members, who represent over 120,000 employees. "By building and strengthening relationships with decision-makers, we are ensuring that the policies shaping Wisconsin’s economic landscape reflect the needs of businesses in Waukesha County," stated a spokesperson from the Alliance.

The Alliance extended gratitude to Michael Best for hosting and thanked all participating business leaders. Those interested in joining the advocacy efforts can contact WNeitzel@waukesha.org.
