Rep. Scott Fitzgerald, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Wisconsin’s 5th district, has recently shared his views on various political topics through a series of tweets. Fitzgerald, who succeeded Jim Sensenbrenner in 2021 and previously served in the Wisconsin State Senate from 1995 to 2021, has been vocal about national and state issues.

On March 5, 2025, Rep. Scott Fitzgerald tweeted about an event attended by Democrats: "The Democrats are currently attending their first Trump rally! "

Later that day, he expressed support for President Trump's vision for America. In his tweet posted at 04:57 UTC, he highlighted several key areas of focus: "Tonight, President Trump laid out a bold vision for America—one that focuses on strengthening our economy, securing the border, restoring accountability in government, and reaffirming America’s leadership on the world stage." He emphasized Trump's commitment to tax cuts.

In another tweet on March 5 at 19:24 UTC, Fitzgerald addressed an issue involving Governor Tony Evers. He accused Gov. Evers of misleading the public with a leaked letter concerning the Budget Resolution: "@GovEvers leaked a letter to the media addressed to Wisconsin Republicans that seeks to mislead people on our Budget Resolution." He assured that Social Security would not be affected during reconciliation.
