Mr. Omar Shaikh, owner of the 3rd Street Market Hall in downtown Milwaukee, recently hosted a group of students from a Prostart culinary class. During their visit, Shaikh provided the students with a guided tour of the market hall, showcasing the various culinary offerings and introducing them to different cuisines available at the venue.

A notable aspect of the trip was lunch at the market. This meal allowed students to sample an array of food options and expand their culinary knowledge. One unique experience for the students was tasting what is known as "the biggest mozzarella stick" from Rod-n-Makk’s.

The visit was made possible through efforts by several facilitators who organized this educational opportunity for the students.
