Residents of Pewaukee are being reminded to avoid shoveling, pushing, or blowing snow into the streets. This practice creates unsafe conditions for drivers and is against local regulations. According to Pewaukee Ordinance Chapter 10.09 and Wisconsin State Statute 346.94(5), depositing snow in the streets or public roadways is punishable by law.

Property owners should ensure their snow removal contractors are aware of these regulations. The city appreciates the community's cooperation in maintaining safe streets and sidewalks for all.

"Please make sure to notify your snow removal contractors as well," reads a statement from the City of Pewaukee. "Thank you for doing your part to help keep our streets and sidewalks safe for everyone."
