In response to feedback from a recent School Board Meeting, the Board of Education has initiated several methods for community engagement regarding the potential sale of Hillside property. These initiatives include a dedicated webpage, a slide presentation with background information, email contacts, and a two-question survey.
Community members are encouraged to learn more about the property and explore the options considered. A Listening Session is scheduled for Monday, November 18, at 6 p.m. in the District Office Board Room located at 3555 N. Calhoun Road, Brookfield 53005. In addition to this outreach via email to Elmbrook families and staff, approximately 1,000 residents living near Hillside will receive postcard invitations to attend the session.
The Board invites community members to share their comments or feedback directly with board members listed on their website or by contacting Board President Scott Wheeler at wheelers@elmbrookschools.org. Furthermore, individuals can provide specific feedback on the potential sale through an anonymous Google Survey.
