Elmbrook District is currently mourning the loss of Harvey Evans, a beloved figure within the community who dedicated over five decades of service to the Elmbrook Schools. Harvey passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, leaving a lasting impact on all those he encountered.

Harvey held the title of being the longest-employed individual in the history of the Elmbrook Schools, having provided custodial services at Fairview South, Dixon, and Swanson Elementary Schools for an impressive 53 years, from 1971 to 2024.

In a statement regarding Harvey's passing, it was expressed, "We are sad to share that Harvey Evans passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024." Throughout his tenure, Harvey touched the lives of thousands of students and staff members with his exceptional kindness, care for the schools he served, and his remarkable sense of humor.
