City of Brookfield issued the following announcement on March 14.
Drop boxes are not able to be used for the April 2022 election.
Any ballots found in the drop box will be returned to the voter via mail. Please return your ballot in person at the clerk's office or by mail. You may not return someone else's ballot. If you are a married couple - please return your ballots individually. If you are attempting to return a ballot for an indefinitely confined voter, please have them send it via regular mail.
Be aware of your timelines.
The ballots must be received no later than 8:00PM Election Day to the Central Count location at the Brookfield Conference Center - 325 S Moorland Road. Brookfield, WI 53005.
