City of Brookfield issued the following announcement.
Please take notice, that an ordinance shall be introduced at a regular meeting of the Brookfield Common Council on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 to redistrict the boundaries of aldermanic districts. The proposed ordinance will be published twice with this notice, prior to council action on Tuesday, October 19, 2021.
Section 62.08 Wis. Stats., further specifies that all aldermanic districts shall be as compact in area as possible and contain, as nearly as practicable by combining contiguous whole wards, an equal number of inhabitants according to the most recent decennial federal census of population.
