Pewaukee ranked 159th among cities in Wisconsin by annual earnings per resident, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The median income of Pewaukee residents was $35,344 per year, adjusted for inflation. It had 3,915 households with a population of 8,207.

The city with the highest median resident income in the state was Lac La Belle with $71,250 per year after adjusting for inflation – $35,906 more than Pewaukee. It had 107 households with a population of 287.

The city with the lowest median resident income in the state was Whitewater with $9,187 per year after adjusting for inflation – $26,157 less than Pewaukee. It had 4,616 households with a population of 14,766.
