Which Waukesha County school had biggest enrollment in 2024-25 school year

Arrowhead High School had the highest enrollment among Waukesha County schools, welcoming 1,950 students during the 2024-25 academic year, according to a report from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2024-25 school year, 50.5% identified themselves as girls.

Data also showed that most of the students were white, accounting for 87% of the Arrowhead High School’s total enrollment.

Among the 108 schools in Waukesha County, Muskego High School ranked second in enrollment numbers with 1,634 students, while Mukwonago High School welcomed 1,604 students and ranked third in the 2024-25 school year.

Arrowhead High School is a part of the Arrowhead UHS School District, which roughly covers schools within Waukesha County with its main office in Hartland.

In the previous school year, Arrowhead High School also had the highest number of students among Waukesha County schools.

In 2022, the teacher-to-student ratio was approximately 1:14 in Wisconsin classrooms, compared to the national average of 1:16.

Wisconsin ranks 22nd in the U.S. for public education spending, with an annual expenditure of over $16,500 per pupil, totaling $13.8 billion.
