The UW La Crosse Eagles defeated the CMS Stags 79-62 on Saturday, March 7, in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament. The victory featured former Catholic Memorial High School standout Ben Goedheer playing for the Eagles.

Tipoff for the matchup took place at 6:50 p.m. at Mitchell Hall Fieldhouse, marking the Eagles’ first game against the CMS Stags in this tournament.

The Eagles are scheduled to play their next game Saturday, March 14, at 6 p.m. at Ron Rosner Arena.
