Rep. Scott Fitzgerald, U.S. Congressman from Wisconsin's 5th district, recently shared several posts on his Twitter account reflecting on the legacy of Charlie Kirk and commemorating the anniversary of September 11.
On September 10, Fitzgerald wrote, "Charlie Kirk was one of the most pivotal voices of the modern conservative movement. He stood unwaveringly for free speech and for engaging young Americans in thoughtful, meaningful conversations about the future of our country.

The following day, marking the anniversary of the September 11 attacks, Fitzgerald posted a tribute to those affected by the tragedy: "On this day, we pause to remember the lives lost on 9/11 and the heroes who stood tall in our darkest hour. May their courage and sacrifice continue to guide us. #NeverForget https://t.co/LDWsRbdu2m". Later that same day, he also posted a tweet containing only a link: "https://t.co/uhbduTc58e".
Scott Fitzgerald has represented Wisconsin's 5th congressional district since winning elections in both 2020 and 2022; he secured victories over Tom Palzewicz and Mike Van Someren respectively.
