On Friday, Feb. 14, former New Berlin West Middle And High School standout Vincent Gohlke’s current college team, the UIC Flames, lost 9-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Citadel Bulldogs.

The game took place at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park. This was their first matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Flames’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 15 at 1:30 p.m. at Nielsen Field @ CSU Ballpark against Charleston Southern Buccaneers.
