This week, the Wisconsin Assembly approved several public safety bills designed to improve safety in communities and schools. The legislation includes measures such as deploying Student Resource Officers in Milwaukee Public Schools, expanding guidelines for towing and impounding vehicles operated by reckless drivers, revoking supervision or probation for individuals who commit crimes, increasing penalties for intentionally harming police or fire animals, and imposing life imprisonment for child trafficking offenses.

State Representative Adam Neylon commented on the passage of these bills: "A free society relies on transparency and accountability in the judicial system. These bills are a bold step forward, strengthening safety in our schools and communities to ensure a brighter and safer Wisconsin for all."
