The Waukesha County Board of Supervisors was set to vote on a proposed county sales tax. However, before the meeting commenced, Waukesha County Executive Paul Farrow announced the withdrawal of the sales tax ordinance from consideration.

The Alliance and the business community are ready and willing to work with Waukesha County and state leaders on the best path forward, including a legislative change to adopt less than the required 0.5% sales tax, and other options to address Waukesha County’s concerns in the next legislative session.”
