FOIA Request to Village Of Lac La Belle Regarding New Voter Registrations on November 7, 2024.
In our continuous efforts to provide comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we at Waukesha Times have sent a request under the Wisconsin Open Records Law, §19.31 et seq., to the Village Of Lac La Belle. Our request specifically pertains to obtaining a list of new voters who registered on November 5, 2024.
As an organization committed to holding public institutions accountable and providing transparency to the public, access to such public records is essential for us. We believe that this information will not only help us in our journalistic duties but also aid in disseminating important information about voter registration trends in the region.
