On October 3, Elmbrook Director of Technology Dan Scott joined a K-12 cybersecurity roundtable with National Cyber Director Harry Coker Jr. and State Superintendent Jill Underly. The discussion focused on the need for proactive measures to protect school district infrastructure from cyber threats.

"This was a crucial conversation to have in today’s digital landscape as we continue to mitigate cyber threats to our K-12 system," stated Dan Scott. "I’m grateful to Director Coker and Superintendent Underly and others for taking the time to prioritize this important topic. Based on our conversation, Elmbrook is well-positioned to identify and respond to cybersecurity attacks which continue to increase in K-12 education."

Elmbrook was among a select group of Wisconsin districts chosen for the discussion, which emphasized sharing resources from government organizations that are "better positioned to help districts reduce risk," according to Director Coker.
