Brookfield Central student Aidan Liu, class of 2026, has been named to the 2024-2025 US National Development Team. This recognition is considered the highest honor for a junior speedskater from a developmental perspective by the National Sports Governing Body under the U.S. Olympic Committee. Skaters in this program are positioned closely to join the national team.
In the upcoming season, Liu will be invited to participate in international competitions governed by the International Skating Union.
Liu serves as President of the Elmbrook Speedskating Club and was recently crowned national champion in the Junior C Men’s Division this past March, marking his third consecutive national championship.
