Several Elmbrook students have been recognized by the 2024 National Center for Women and Information Technology (NCWIT) for their aspirations in computing. Amoolya Mammula (BEHS ‘24), Elena Rickert (BEHS ‘27), and Anushka Vysyaraju (BC ‘24) were among the 77 students selected to win NCWIT Awards in the Wisconsin Affiliate for Aspirations in Computing (WIAiC). Additionally, Sudiksha Pandey (BC ‘24) received an honorable mention from the state, while Vaidehi Ramachandrula (BC ‘26) was one of three students in the state to receive a National Honorable Mention from NCWIT.

The organization recognizes high school students in grades 9 through 12 who self-identify as women, genderqueer, or non-binary for their computing-related achievements and interests. This initiative is part of an effort to encourage more young women to pursue careers in technology.

"Congratulations to these students on their incredible accomplishments in computing!"
