Rohin Gupta, a sophomore at Brookfield East High School, has been chosen as a delegate for the upcoming Youth Leadership Forum. The selection was made by the Wisconsin Board for People with Developmental Disabilities (WBPDD) in Madison. The forum, which spans a week, is designed for high school students with disabilities who are keen to develop their leadership abilities, self-advocacy skills, and career awareness.

Gupta expressed his enthusiasm about the opportunity: “I am excited to get to know others and build skills in independence,” he said. “I want to use the skills that I learn in my school and community.”

Each year, only 25 students from sophomore through senior year across the state are selected as WBPDD delegates for the Forum. The selection is based on leadership potential and active participation in their school community. Elmbrook Schools expressed pride in Gupta's achievement and his determination throughout this process. They also wished him success at the Forum this summer.
