Opioid Awareness and Narcan Training Event

Presented by the WCTC Student Nursing Club, this event aims to increase awareness about the opioid epidemic in Wisconsin and provides valuable Narcan training.
Kristin Waite-Labott, founder of the Wisconsin Peer Alliance for Nurses will be our keynote speaker, and a panel discussion will include advocates, frontline responders and community experts.
This event is free and open to the public. Donations are welcome on the day of the event to support the WCTC Nursing Club in their goals to support future nurses, develop leaders and host great programs like this one.
WCTC is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the Wisconsin Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. WNA nursing contact hours pending.
