Of the 2,592 people living in Wales in 2020, 44.6 percent (1,155) were women and 55.4 percent (1,437) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Waukesha County Times.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 49. In the 65 and over age range, there were 230 females and 270 males.
