For a municipality, a Comprehensive Plan is like a road map for the community. This officially adopted long-range plan represents a community’s vision. It is used to direct growth and guide the policies of a community into the future.
Ellsworth will soon begin an exciting comprehensive planning process envisioning the future of Ellsworth! Following a process that includes public participation and engagement, input on topics such as efficient land-use, complete streets, health and livability, inclusivity, sustainability, and resilience will be compiled. The result is a plan that guides future decision-making and community growth and development.
Join us as Chris Holtkamp, UW River Falls Extension, shares about the process the Village of Ellsworth will follow in developing their comprehensive plan. You’ll most certainly want to take part –learn about opportunities to participate in the process through public sessions, surveys, and more!
