City of New Berlin recently issued the following announcement.
Johns Disposal Service Inc. will be assuming responsibility for City of New Berlin residential garbage/recycling pickup effective 1/1/2022. Johns has been delivering new carts to all eligible residential properties throughout the month of December.
Old trash/recycling carts will be picked up on behalf of Waste Management by Sierra Container Group starting January 3rd thru January 14th, 2022. Carts must be empty and curbside during this timeframe. This includes the carts of any residents who were paid subscribers to ‘up-the-drive’ service. Any container with trash or recycling in it will not be picked up. Any issues with pickup should be directed to Waste Management at 888-960-0008 or 262-251-4000.

Furthermore, residents are encouraged to sign up for the City’s New Berlin Notes to stay informed on this and other important City news.
