Aquinas Academy Catholic Grade School in Menomonee Falls would lose $229,311 in state funding if a Biden Administration were to ban Wisconsin’s Parental School Choice Program.

Biden promised last month to aggressively pursue the political agenda of teachers unions if he wins the White House in November. A top priority: eliminating public school competition from charter schools and private school choice programs.

Aquinas’ enrollment was 129 in 2019. According to the Wisconsin State Board of Public Instruction, 118 students received an average of $1,941 in Parental School Choice funding.

The average spent on a public school student statewide was $13,462.

Wisconsin’s school choice program one of the nation’s largest and a top target of the National Education Association, which claims more than 30,000 members here.

“You don’t just have a partner in the White House, you’ll have an NEA

(National Education Association) member in the White House,” Biden said.

Founded in 1991 and serving kindergarten through 8th grade, Aquinas Academy uses a classical educational methodology.

Aquinas Academy is located at N72 W15935 Good Hope Road.

Menomonee Falls has 38,014 people and four private schools receiving state school choice funds. The others are Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran School (274 students/$251,468), Grace Lutheran School (197/$547,128) and Zion Lutheran School (87/$374,793).
