The following day, May 15, 2025, Fitzgerald shared his engagement with Sheriff Lamb regarding law enforcement tools. He tweeted about their discussion on providing less-than-lethal devices to law enforcement officers and thanked Sheriff Lamb for supporting his legislative effort known as the Law Enforcement Innovate to De-Escalate Act.
