The School District of Waukesha announced on Apr. 14 a partnership with Second Life Mac to offer an exclusive community sale of pre-owned Apple devices. The sale, which is available only to the school community, will continue with restocks through June 30.
This initiative aims to provide affordable access to technology for students and families within the district. The district said this program gives the community a chance to purchase “new-to-you” tech at reduced prices.
The School District of Waukesha operates as a public education institution and is governed by a nine-member board of education, according to the official website. It ranks as the seventh-largest school district in Wisconsin according to its official website.
In addition to offering technology sales, the district supports student mental health through dedicated initiatives and provides early learning programs and a STEM campus for student development, as detailed on its official website. The district also focuses on building students’ skills for community involvement, college readiness, and career success according to its official website.
The ongoing collaboration with Second Life Mac reflects efforts by the School District of Waukesha to support both educational needs and broader access to technology among students and their families.
