Johns announced on May 20 that its operations will be closed on Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day. The company said all service routes will be delayed by one day throughout the week due to the holiday.
The notice is important for residents who rely on Johns for regular services, as it affects scheduling and waste collection plans during the holiday week. The company encouraged customers to share this information through email or social media so that community members are aware of the changes.
“Please feel free to pass along this email and/or to share a notice to your social media pages so that residents remember that all routes will be delayed by one day for the entire week,” Johns said in its statement. “From all of us at JOHNS: we honor, remember, and thank the men and women who have sacrificed their lives while serving in the US Military. We also humbly acknowledge and give thanks for their families and friends.”
