On Friday, March 13, Melena Glysch, a former Muskego High School standout now playing for the Ferris State Bulldogs, saw her team defeated 70-59 by the UMSL Tritons in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.
The matchup tipped off at 2:30 p.m. at GVSU Fieldhouse and marked the Bulldogs’ first tournament meeting with the UMSL Tritons.
According to the U.S. Department of Education, Carroll University in Waukesha, Wisconsin allocated $248,526 to men’s basketball teams in 2024, which is $991,616 below the state average of $1,240,142.
