The county’s median rate in fiscal year 2025 was 1.1%, making Elm Grove’s rate 0.1 percentage points higher than the overall median.
During the same period, Nashotah, Waukesha and three other cities also recorded the median rate of 1.1% in Waukesha County.
For the 23 cities in the county, annual rates ranged between 0.4% in Vernon and as high as 2.4% in Dousman.
In fiscal year 2024, Elm Grove posted a 1% median commercial tax rate, ranking 14th across the county that year.
