    Renowned author Katherine Applegate, known for her best-selling and Newbery Award-winning works, made a visit to Brookfield East on Wednesday, May 15. She engaged with an audience of 400 students, families, and staff from Elmbrook and surrounding communities. The purpose of her visit was to promote her latest young adult novel, 'The One and Only Family', which concludes her 'One and Only Ivan' series. Throughout her illustrious career, Applegate has sold over 35 million copies of her books.

  • Elmbrook robotics teams shine at FIRST World Championships

    In April, two Elmbrook FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) teams and one FIRST Lego League (FLL) team represented Wisconsin at the FIRST Robotics World Championships in Houston, TX. Of the three FTC teams selected from Wisconsin, two hailed from Elmbrook: Rising Rhinobots (Team #16310) and GEarheads (Team #16460). Noah Ren, co-team captain of BEAST Robotics (FRC #2202), was also recognized as one of ten Dean’s List Award Winners at the World Championships for his outstanding leadership.
